Author Guidelines for The Brāhmī: International Multidisciplinary Research Journal

Aim and Scope

The Brāhmī: International Multidisciplinary Research Journal aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and academicians across diverse disciplines to publish their original research contributions. The journal welcomes submissions from various fields, including language & literature, humanities, arts, social sciences and interdisciplinary studies.

Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to The Brāhmī must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are required to submit their manuscripts electronically via the online submission system provided by the journal. Submissions should adhere to the journal’s formatting guidelines and citation style.

Authors are requested to submit a paper based on the following guidelines:

  • Title
  • Abstract of the Article
  • Key words
  • Introduction
  • Subject matter
  • Conclusion
  • References/End notes
  • Bibliography (Research papers will typically use the APA/MLA styles sheet)

Title: The title of research paper must be simple and accurate. Name/s of Author/s also is/are provided also along with the title. Address and Affiliation etc. may be provided at the end of the paper.

Abstract: It should not be more than 150 to 250 words.

References: One can choose a specific Style and same style may be followed throughout@ the paper. The research paper without references or incomplete references will not be entertained. Paper written in Sanskrit/Hindi/English Language should give footnote(s) in proper way.

Font and Font size: All research papers should be typewritten in UNICODE FONT in Microsoft Word and the size of font is 12 for Devanagari & Odia script and for Roman script Times New Roman font in 12 font size. The Line space should be 1.5.

Ethics: Authors are requested to follow strict ethics of writing research papers and beware of plagiarism.

Originality of manuscripts: Only ORIGINAL submissions will be accepted for publication. Manuscripts may not have been previously published or be submitted for publication elsewhere. In order to be considered original, a manuscript must be at least 90% new material. Authors must ensure that their submissions comply with ethical standards and include appropriate citations and acknowledgments for any sources or funding received.

Peer Review Process: All submissions to The Brāhmī undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of the research published. Submissions will be reviewed by experts in the respective field(s) to provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement. The peer review process is conducted anonymously to ensure impartial evaluation.

Publication Ethics: Authors are expected to adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct in their research. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Authors must ensure that their submissions are original and properly cite and acknowledge the work of others. Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed by the authors at the time of submission.

Copyright and Licensing: Authors retain the copyright to their work published in The Brāhmī. By submitting their work to the journal, authors grant the journal the right to publish and disseminate their research in both print and electronic formats. The journal may also license the published work under a Creative Commons license or similar terms to facilitate wider dissemination and use.

Publication Process: Upon acceptance, manuscripts will undergo copyediting and typesetting to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to journal style. Authors will be provided with proofs for review and final approval before publication. Published articles will be made available online through the journal’s website and may also be included in electronic databases and indexing services.

Open Access Policy: The Brāhmī is committed to open access publishing to ensure that research findings are freely accessible to the global community.
